The FT50 series tuning fork limit switch is a general-purpose liquid level switch. The tuning fork is excited by the piezoelectric crystal to generate vibration. When the tuning fork is immersed in liquid or solid, the vibration frequency changes. This frequency's variation is detected by the electronic circuit so as to trigger alarm or control the liquid level.

It can be used for high and low limit detection of any liquid in various storage tanks or any liquid in various pipelines, and also suitable for detection in hazardous areas, food, pharmaceutical and general industries.

Product Characteristics

• Adaptability - The measurement is not affected by different electrical parameters and density of the tested materials and the detection is not affected by Fouling, agitation, turbulence, air bubbles, medium viscosity, high temperature, high pressure and other harsh conditions either.
• Free of maintenance - Since the detection of the tuning fork limit switch is completed by electronic circuits and no moving parts involved, maintenance is not required once being installed and put into operation.
• No adjustment required - Since the detection of the tuning fork limit switch is not affected by the electrical parameters and density of the measured medium, no on-site adjustment is required regardless of the type of liquid that is being measured.
• Suitable for installing in the tank from any direction for better implementing the upper and lower limit alarm or interlock of the liquid level. It is good to be installed on the pipeline for monitoring air flow of the material pump as well.
